Gerrit Code Review Training Programs
Master change-based code review with Gerrit — the collaborative review platform powering Android, Chromium, and enterprise software teams worldwide
Gerrit is Google's open-source, change-based code review system that powers some of the largest software projects in the world, including Android (AOSP), Chromium, Eclipse, and LibreOffice. Unlike branch-based pull request models used by GitHub and GitLab, Gerrit reviews individual commits (called "changes") pushed to special refs, enabling fine-grained review of atomic units of work before they reach the target branch. This change-based workflow enforces clean commit history, encourages small and focused changes, and integrates tightly with CI/CD systems through stream-events, REST APIs, and a rich plugin ecosystem. Our training programs cover the full Gerrit spectrum — from fundamentals for developers new to the platform, through administration and CI integration, to advanced workflows including plugin development and multi-project orchestration with the repo tool.
